  • How do I mark an address as not Chinese?

You can indicate that an address is not Chinese by changing its Status to either Not valid or Moved.

Only do so if you have actually visited the home.

If you wish, please write in the Notes section the reason, for example, “Not Chinese” or “Tenant is not Chinese.”

  • When should I add a note?

Add notes that can help the next person to work the territory find the Chinese person or people who live at the address. Such notes would include contact details—think additional telephone numbers or email addresses—and notes about whether non-Chinese may live at the address, such as a spouse.

You can also add notes when you mark an address as Not valid. For example, you can write “Not Chinese.”

Another reason to add a note would be when you move the territory to LET-00 because the door is inaccessible. You could write, “Exterior locked gate” or “No trespassing sign” or “Sign prohibiting knocking or ringing doorbell.”

  • What is the Gated checkbox used for?

This box is optional, meaning you can ignore it.

If you want to use it, only use it for individual homes where we cannot physically access the front door—locked gate outside the individual home—or the individual home has signage indicating that we should not visit—no trespassing, no religion, etc.

Do not use this for gated communities.
